Those spoilers sound a little weak, but that doesn't mean much tbh, was like that multiple times in the past aswell. Sometimes those chapters turn out to be pretty decent, depending on the dialogue and such.

But it seems like the Roger part was the climax of that flashback. For now I'd say the only bit that was meh was the transition from the Roger pirates splitting up, up to that pretty disappointing battle last chapter.
Hopes are up to a great ending of this fb. Hopefully this doesn't go in time jumps of some minutes tho. That boiling matter can easily be handled in half the next chapter.

They need to bring back the old editors of pre-ts One Piece. Flashbacks are awesome but at least not in this way, anyway.

The Editors from 2006-2007 and also 2008-2010 would be great, guys do amazing job alongside with Oda back then.
