He gets stopped by Grandpa and Grandma Kurozumi, and instead of trying to fight their old asses and Kaido as well he.... believes them when they say they need 5 years to build a ship and leave, giving up the title of Shogun and a base of operations for the Beasts Pirates for no reason? And that he needs to dance naked in order to save the people he arrested for barging in the castle in the first place? Damn man, I mean Luffy is dumb and all, but I don't even think he'd be this retarded.

Oda's ways are mysterious ones. He great for many things but he has also a way to make very silly situations and plot twists.

He trained for it but failed to learn.

I think there's like levels to training for this. Neko and Inuarashi failed to even transform so that's probably level one. Then Pekoms failed to control the transformation which is level two. Carrot was on the maximum level of full control am choosing when to transform in and out of the form.

972 - Oden dies, Scabbards flee to Kuri and the castle is attacked
973 - Toki sends them to the future, we finally come back to the present for the final page.

so with everything that has happened with the oden flashback, the ending (Each dance = 100 people saved. It’s fucking retarded)and especially taking into account it's lenght.
