Oda hasn't given him anything so far and Law is outshining him here. No flashback. No story focus. No big moment with Luffy or SHs or main villain. He's just here.

If this is all Kid can do then let him be outshined. I'm bored of his huge metal estatues... the only good move was assign and perhaps we fans read too much into it rationalizing that the reason why Big Mom was hurt were the infinite magnetic force covering the metals pushing BMs inside... but this chapter hints otherwise...
