It could be a hallucination, maybe he is dreaming and it is like sleep paralysis but the mountains in the background indicate that the place is real and not a dream. Last time Zoro was shown to be near death (it was a gag) he and Usopp were dreaming about flower fields (Drum Island). So I would say that this is probably not a hallucination and we will get some additional plotline through this. In the TCB translation it does not say twice but multiple times the damage and with Zoro tanking Hakai and Thunder Bagua and all the other damage, multiplying it with even two would be too damn much. Is damage from King fight also going to be multiplied? Hope not cause King absolutely bodied Zoro pre-ACoC.

Brook attacking one of the main characters who is almost dead, damn such a nice gag. I can't stop laughing

Nice stretch ngl. Instead of standing between Zoro and the enemies, he stands right in front of Zoro protecting him from the fucking air, 390IQ. Did he also yeet his sword to grab a random Scythe because why not? And why did he leave Robin who is the main target of every CP0 in Onigashima? How does he know that Zoro is right there when not even Franky (the last SH to see Zoro) knows where he is? There are so many questions and no answers.

It's the "cursed" sword Enma's spirit. That's the only thing that makes sense.
The Mink Medicine making whoever takes it see illusions and being paralysed was never a thing. It also being Brook for some idiotic gag doesn't make sense either.

Either It's Enma or an actual spirit

An interesting tale 🤔

In one traditional tale, a man who is fed up with his life prepares to commit suicide. Before he could do so, however, he is visited by a Shinigami, who tells him that his time has not yet come. The Shinigami also explains that each life is measured on a candle, and once the flame burns out, the person dies. This shows that the Shinigami have no control over who lives and dies. To stop the man from committing suicide, the Shinigami tells him an easy way to make money.

The man is told that he could pretend to be a doctor who could cure any form of disease. By speaking some magic words, a Shinigami can be forced back into the Underworld, thus lengthening a person’s life. The man is also informed that this would only work if the Shinigami is sitting at the foot of the bed. If the Shinigami is sitting at the head of the bed, however, it means that the sick person must die. Using this new found knowledge, the man grew very rich.
Zoro is most likely on the brink, I won't deny that cause everything that has happened. So this is most likely a Shinigami for the "King of Hell". He will 100% force this entity away by either making a deal with it or with his Conquerors spirit 🤔. As the chapter has also shown us, the Shinigami is in front of Zoro and not by his head, if it was it would confirm that he is in fact dying.
And just as the folklore states you can make deals with the Shingami and what does Zoro want? He wants Kaido's head. The unkillable Kaido as a price for the Shinigami in exchange for Zoro's life makes 100% sense. Plus he's already gotten the power to actually kill Kaido..."the power to slay a dragon with a single swing". His last swing missed on the Rooftop plus I doubt he would have killed Kaido with it but with AdCoC on 3 swords? Yeah he is killing Kaido

ZKK HYPE BABY!

Its a gag thing, Zoro thinks deaths has come for him only o realise its just Brook, its a similar type of gag to when Chopper closed his eyes and thought he was dreaming only to open them up and see Brook's scary face.

Remember Zoro was close to Brook and Robin than he was to Franky, Zoro and King fought closer to the base of Onigashima, so Brook and Robin getting there first is a given
