I think he joins the Blackbeard Pirates, be it as the 10th Titanic Captain or an ally and will be Luffy's pre-climax fight going into his fight with Blackbeard and might even fight alongside Luffy against BB after the two fight. He currently hates BB but his mom seems to move purely for money and both her and Weevil are being hunted down by the WG so it won't be at all surprising if Bakkin decides to go under BB's umbrella even more so if wealth will come with it.
Strength-wise Weevil can be as strong as Oda wants him to be. According to Kizaru, his strength is reminiscent of a young WB and although it's easy to assume that he's referring to an up and coming rookie WB, it could also easily be referring to Prime WB or thereabout. I mean Weevil doesn't exactly look like a rookie and is already 35 years old, right around Shanks and Blackbeard's age and these guys are in their Prime.
Another option is him joining the SHs as the 10th Nakama. If he makes an appearance on Elbaf then this might be a real possibility particularly if neither Yamato or Carrot join.

So Oda introduced this ugly motherfucker, barely showed him at all, and then abolished the Shichibukai system entirely. And while it's very easy to speculate about the role some of the former Shichibukai will play in the story (Boa, Mihawk, Buggy, etc.), it certainly feels like nobody ever talks about this guy. Is there even hype surrounding him? Does anyone think he's going to be a threat for any of the important characters?
I'm just struggling to see what his purpose will be. What do you think Oda has planned for this guy? Why does he exist?

After Usopp lied his way to a 500 million bounty and then a 1 billion bounty, I'll be sure to say fuck you to Lolda, then, although I know he will never hear/see it.
