lvl 5 and below requires a white whistle which you have to you can go anywhere actually thanks to @TheAncientCenturion 's noble sacrifice.

This is correct. You are immune to the effects of the first 5 layers of the Abyss and so is your team.

You can also go to the 6th layer but that's the last dive.
