We got her past. Her being defeated now wont mean she can't make an appearance again in Elbaf or be important (look Crocodile, Lucci they are still relevant after their defeat).

It simply depends.

Her past is a set up to the future if anything, it wasn't just an exposition dumb, it even have a cliffhanger and Big Mom still oblivious to what happened

Big Mom won't be defeated, and there's no basis for her to just randomly appear in Elbaf after she lose here

Obviously we know how Oda operate after 1000 chapters, he always finish his plotlines accordingly , the climax always matches the set up

Do you think plotlines like Pudding, Vinsmoke getting captured, Mother caramel, gathering all the races, Big Mom scream, her memory problems, Luffy fighting Big Mom...ecta all will randomly won't mean anything just because you can't wrap your head around Oda possibly making a fake conclusion to the most random fight in this raid?

People are not even paying attention to Kidd character as well, they're just mindlessly accepting whatever Oda lead them to believe
