-Kuzan freezing an entire ocean for days up to the next island
-Akainu and Aokiji changing the climate of an island

I didn't defend her for not trying to use adCoC. Infact she didn't use her thunder attacks either. But Bigmom is not a competent fighter is been established throughout the manga and of course plot is the biggest reason for most of the cases.
