If the raid fails, then this defeat can shift the focus of the story back to the strawhats, and expand on the storylines that have just been introduced during this conflict.
And on the last point, I guess a third party could intervene to allow the alliance to escape, whether that is the government, Zunisha or something else I don't know.

The start of his arc? How do these pages during 1031 not represent the end of his problems that started with WCI? How is a rematch with Queen supposed to improve what already happened here? I'm not saying this is the end of the Straw Hats arcs period, but for the most part, the fights/moments provided a great amount of development for the Straw Hats. Any expanding can happen in future arcs, the Beast Pirates are not vital for this to happen.

The only thing that the raid failing will give to the audience is agony as they will have to go through a storyline that they already went through, except with a different background this time.

I wonder what Kid and Law bounty will be post Wano, they basically defeated a healthy emperor (she was nowhere near as roughed up as Kaido when her battle with Kid and Law started).
I wonder if they will be able to gather a huge fleet from new world fighters from now, as many people may want to join them if they start recruitment. One of the biggest reason peopel can't see them as suitable rival to Luffy is because of how weak their crew are compared to SHs.

Here's my take on why Big Mom getting up again won't add to anything.



Not to mention that this was supposed to be a stealth mission where they take out Kaido and Orochi while they're drunk. There's a lot of injuries/fodder deaths from this and the castle is a blazing inferno around all of our characters. Not the most ideal situation.


I'll need more than rumors of a leak to really trust in it.

Big Mom put up a hell of a fight during this, heavily injured Kid and Law + knocking them out badly once before. Got up multiple times and tanked multiple heavy attacks. Kid and Law will probably be done after this fight as well.

Adds up just fine once you put all the panels together, it might be a disappointing fight to some but there's a narrative that has fully played out here. Which you can see my explanation from an earlier comment.

It's happened multiple times at this point where a chapter ends with a big attack and we see the results in the next. The only difference here is that Big Mom gets another fight chapter right after that has her taking 2 ultimate attacks back to back and ending in a way that other fights have ended, where we see the results next week.

There's not much that can come from Big Mom getting up again. What does it add to the story if she does get up other than her, Kid, and Law doing things that we've seen multiple times during this fight already?

According to your rants and wanks, if Big Mom has just been defeated, what happens to her character? She is not dead, she isn't o lin either. She is a knocked out Big Mom that will eventually recover after a few hours

Yeah I agree Sanji had some good development here, but you can't ignore that right after this Sanji has the big scene where he tells Zoro that he should kill him should he lose his emotions. Sanji would rather die, than let this happen.
And then in the next chapter where they fight nothing is resolved, Sanji just defeats Queen and that's it. I would say this storyline needs to continue, Sanji's story in Wano should last longer than the 3 chapters we've gotten.
