Anything that regards Law's awakening can be performed by remote without digging into the body bypassing the body layers protection directly. He can perform directly from the inside out that's why I warmly hope barrier haki shall prove sufficiently effective against that astonishing hax.
Law fans the only ones paying attention
I never saw ur thoughts on the new attack, how u feelin about the joint?? Shit toke me Completely pleasantly by surprised lls!!!!
Greatest attack in the entirety of Wano. One of the biggest ever, what's not to love about it? It's an insane all time feat. It almost made up for the entire botch of a fight that's how insane it was.
And I'm not gonna act like I wasn't surprised. I thought Oda would try and have Kidd outshine Law by just a bit because this is his first big moment, but I almost feel like Oda is biased towards Law after witnessing this battle.
Also, what u think about meme durability in relation to Kaido? I be seeing unfortunately look down on Meme. But while not able to competely no sell puncture shockwave. Her durability tanks enough piercing force, to shot through 1000s of miles of bedrock. In direct comparison Kaido bitching about how injection shot force enough to throw him off. Seems a lot more solid comparison then Kaido tanked Kong Organ, meme need CoA for G4. Despite her yet laughing, an clashing with Kaido with it.
Partly true, it’s extended to not completely destroy onigashima mainly. Despite that being obvious, if that’s not enough to sit well with other fanbases(cope). He at the very least to protecting Kid. His actual teammate, that’s massively injured already. An in the immediate proximity.
What the?? U know this is nonsense lol
Yea there is actually, an attack that caliber shockwave. could’ve fuck up wano. Which is basically in visual eyesight of momo. There’s indication zero at all length =strength
The impact was nowhere near big enough to actually disturb the Wano land to that extent—that's some mad exaggeration there. Going deeper isn't exactly helping him lessen the impact on the Wano land, the shockwaves radius kept on increasing as it reaches the tip of the sword meaning the hole would be the largest at the tip of the sword which is underground. If there is a hole underground that's as big as Onigashima or bigger, then the ground would crumble like a sinkhole—that's definitely not doing any favors to the Wano citizens.
There is nothing to cope about here, and I am not even sure why you guys are hell-bent on this one. Attacks' impact being directly proportional to the Room's size has always been a thing for Law. Bigger Rooms improve Law's cutting ability, and even in the last chapter, the Shock Wille hurt BM worse than the first one because Law used a bigger sword which by extension means extending the Kroom.
That’s where I’m getting the lightning stuff from, you can see the bolts start to come off his sword in the panel immediately before the damage starts.
Combined with the attack needing to be dug deep into the ground my immediate assumption was that it was acting as a lightning rod.
He extended the sword this much because otherwise it could have damaged Onigashima too much and because Oda is most likely going to use that hole for the plot.
And it's electricty based, there are sparks, when he's performing that move. Why would this be shown when it's shockwave based?
That's pretty much countershock on steriods.

I interpret shock wille as countershock on steroids.
Gamma knife also has electricity around it. Idk I'm not sold on it being a shock more than a force. I feel like if it were shock based we would see some sort of static effect emanating from Big Mom after it was used. Something much more apparent surrounding Big Mom, like when he uses counter shock.

Exactly how Im feelin dog, Oda gave us King of feats type shit with that attack. Tho key phase “almost made up”.
I was thinking law best Aoe feat, was gonna be cutting the skull dome to parallel PH. An he’d get another lethal but non physical Hax attack. This mofo goes an pulls an island lvl “Aoe/DC” attack, that actually packs a punch. Damn !!!

I honestly never felt that way personally. But I always pictured the difference in Law/Kids performance similar to Luffy/Zoro. In that regard I thought Kid would be the better close quarters fighter. An Law the better damage maker. Tho Im surprised the close range aspect was scarped for Kid.
I don't feel like getting into this on this thread rn.

I get what you mean, but we actually don't see the moment it hits BM, so even if there were some sparks or some kind of lightning sphere coming out of her body, we couldn't have seen it anyway.
What speaks for my and @Garp the Fist's take is, that there are the same sparks that are seen when he's using countershock and the only thing that emits BM's body, after the attack was already performed, is that dark smoke cloud, as if something was burned, again very similiar to the visual that follows countershock.
Hmm.. What do you think about that?

Most of Laws abilities have a smoke effect. Nothing burn on doffy body. That’s just a visual effect.
Now that I think about it, it’s probably just both. When using shockwille, Oda main focus is to portray an Electrifie type the visual effect.
Yet later it’s suggested by Meme, the attacks bone multiple bones. I personally dnt know any electrical attacks, with that type of effect. Implying a shockwave present aswell.
With puncture shockwave, the visual effects highlighted are the hole/DC created by the move. leading me to believe it meant to parallel injection shot.
When he cut up Vergo and a mountain range.
When he made it known that a larger room = reducing his life force
When the longer Kroom sword did more damage than the shorter one
Yeah I also don't rule out that possibility, as the smoke cloud visuals that went down the elongated blade look very much like that' the case.
But then there are those sparks and that dark smoke cloud that indicate something was burned, both visuals that are linked to countershock.
Ir's really difficult to tell tbh
Then you need to pay attention. You know maybe the very fact that Big Mom ended up with broken bones after the second Kroom and was down for an even longer time.
Wat lol, dude honestly tf are u even talking about?? This isn’t hard to follow...
He makes use of his extended blade in 2 different attacks. That blatantly suggesting, it’s an independent ability from puncture shockwave. U seemly get that much at least...
Only the explanation we get for the blades extension to mitigate the explosion. At no point is there a panel suggesting laws do this to increase power!!!!! It’s not a requirement for puncture shockwave, an it’s implied he could’ve used it immediately. So
We didn't get any explanation in the manga. You do not even understand the abilities of the character you Stan and yet when a proper explanation is being provided, you fail to listen.
Was the sword extension given another name? It was not hence the extension was not a different attack.
The shockwave after the extension was a more powerful attack and therefore has a different name. How you fail to understand this is not my problem
Again this isn’t hard to follow along...Kroom nothing more the Ability to Pierce any object, an extended the blade. What other ability does that sound like
U can clearly see a massive hole right under were the attacks used. Signaling It’s still a Piercing attack. Meme durability tanks it so there’s no exit wounds. But clearly still a stab/piercing attack.
The attacks literally a call back to injection shot vs Kaido. Instead of hitting meme with just the shockwave(ineffective against Kaido), he combined it with Kroom an bypasses Meme durability. Hence firing off at same damage inside/outside the body

First off, there’s no indication if memes bones are broken or not during its first use. U literally just made that up.
The only reason we can visually tell this times, cause it broke her arm. But that’s clearly because It went directly thro it dog. Can u tell if her ribs are broken just lookin at her lol???
We didn't get any explanation in the manga. You do not even understand the abilities of the character you Stan and yet when a proper explanation is being provided, you fail to listen.
Kroom being used the whole time dog. There no need to call out another name. Kroom literally the ability to extend his sword/an bypass durability. the same Applications as amputee with a marginal twist.
The shockwave after the extension was a more powerful attack and therefore gas a different name. How you fail to understand this is not my problem
?? What part of kroom = amputee dnt u get?? Never claim it was puncture shockwave. Slow down so u can actually understand Laws awakening. I’m giving free game
Anyway I said the ability makes use of both injection shot/Kroom. Kroom bypassed meme durability an also extends his range(extended sword). Puncture shockwave literally just injection, with a small upgrade. a massive explosion at the tip
It imcreases it's strength. That is the entire point. This is why a bigger use of room drains Law's lifespan

The attack looks island sized to me but I quite doubt Law decided to contain himself. It's probably comprehendable, the only man who might be able to affect the whole country was Whitebeard and Hakai could have done that perhaps. Although regardless Law didn't destroy an island sized area entirely, he just pierced it. 🧐
