Wano started with episode 892 which was aired on June 23, 2019. It's episode 1009 now. 117 episodes in total with $90k per episode budget.
That's total $10.530m budget so far.
Demon slayer season 2(11 episodes) cost around $1M. But it took more than 2 years for this new season to come out.
If Toei worked good, they could have pulled it. We could have good Wano arc with 50 episodes with better pace at much lower cost than what they are giving us. They are killing the business for some outdated TV channel.
Gives me Warner Bros vibes.

Budget always matter. If you spend money on hiring good team, you get quality product.
Also look at the sales Demon Slayer anime generated. The story is not that great and new. But the numbers are staggering. It is sold like crazy.

- Izo is defeated on the ground, CP0 are standing above him. The taller one is injured and says it's about time for the Whitebeard Pirates to disappear.
- CP0 Leader says they can't go on like this or Nico Robin will seminate them.
- Just when they are starting the chase again, CP0 Leader senses a presence near them and realizes is Killer.
- Killer, who was running for the Live Floor, faces the CP0 agents and shows that he knows who they are. He decides to stop.
- Killer and CP0 Leader at the same time: "This really is a long night..."
- CP0 Leader says they can't go on like this or Nico Robin will seminate them.

don't have TIME to actually make something good then it's not going to be good.
With that being said Toei is clearly prepping for Roof Piece thats why the animation as been lackluster this past month and it's been dragging. They're focusing all their TIME towards the shit that actually needs to look good.
