Speculations If Zoro fights an Admiral then so will Sanji

zoro vs kaido

sanji vs black maria
In the end, they fought YCs. We all know Zoro plays the middle ground with Luffy and Sanji. Zoro is the type to occasionally fight Luffy's opponents (see Arlong, Enel, Lucci, Hody, and Kaido), and even get unique moments against secondary antagonists (Mihawk and Kuma).

But at the end of the day, he's aways paired off with Sanji to fight the #2 and 3 of an arc.

If Luffy fights the Fleet Admiral, they will likely fight the Admirals. It's just how it works.

I don’t think people get Zoro is the bridge Oda uses to compare the M3.

Zoro is comparable to Luffy and Sanji is comparable to Zoro, therefore Sanji is comparable to Luffy. That’s how Oda portrays the monster trio. People need to stop ignoring part of this to fit “Luffy >> Zoro/Sanji” or “Luffy/Zoro >> Sanji” agendas

Yeah

Although tbh I'm not sure they will fight admirals really. Blackbeard's crew is still looming. I mean maybe the SHs will get two major 1v1's in the final war but we'll see
There are 4 (or 5) major "antagonist" factions left.

- Red Haired Pirates
- Blackbeard Pirates
- Marines
- World Government
- Maybe Vegapunk/Marine Science Division/SSG

Of those, Blackbeard, Akainu and Im are clearly antagonistic towards Luffy specifically. Shanks' antagonism highly depends on what he does following Wano. Vegapunk's depends on what follows Wano too. Is he tied with the SSG and Kuma as bring future issues against the crew? Kuma himself was set up as a future roadblock. Does an Admiral like Kizaru get involved with that since he has a ties to it all?

Then there's just the fact that Rocks might be another thing we can't really understand yet. Is he alive? Does his crew go beyond BM and Kaido in terms of danger? We have no idea atm.

While this is true Oda never compared Luffy with Sanji like he did with Zoro.
In Oda's mind its probably. Luffy>=Zoro>=Sanji but Luffy>Sanji.
