Both Sanji and Zoro can fight Admirals, that is not a problem. But Zoro is either fighting Akainu or Kizaru. Power wise Fujitora isn't a challenge to him and I bet Greenbull too.

While this is true Oda never compared Luffy with Sanji like he did with Zoro.
In Oda's mind its probably. Luffy>=Zoro>=Sanji but Luffy>Sanji.

He compared them a few times. Recently in WCI but Oda also wrote sanjis backstory to mirror Luffys backstory as well just like he wrote Zoros dream to mirror Luffys. All of these things are done purposefully

Even in Wano Zoro gets compared a lot more with Luffy but Oda doesnt forget his dynamic with Sanji and he gave them both of them commander fights.

I‘ve seen some Sanji haters/Marine fanboys claim that Kid & Law will fight Admirals instead of Sanji which is absurd considering the fact that Zoro & Sanji‘s 1v1 fights were always against people in the same rank

Thats what i am saying. Oda gives Zoro something puts an equal footing with Luffy then Oda puts Zoro on an equal footing with Luffy for another thing.
Wano is an example of that: Zoro goes to the roof with Luffy, Zoro and Sanji gets commander fights with or Wings.
