To make it clear, Flower had the Denji role, which meant she was essentially Makima's pet (Ryu was Makima). That was where the simping post restriction came from. With Ryu dead, my understanding is she loses that role now. She was able to talk with him out of thread etc. She said several times he was the one she would vouch for the most.
