It's not an act of war but it's hostile. The first thing NATO(America) is going to do the moment they accept Ukraine into NATO is start building bases all across Ukraine. Theres no reason to expand. There is no threat of the Soviet Union. NATO being alive past the cold war is just straight up Western Imperialism. Putin is a dick but, the West has given him the excuse he was looking for to engage in his own form of Imperialism.
How do you think US would react if China all of a sudden starts building a military base in Mexico?

They did so legally through the referendum. Again, im not defending russia. This is all an excuse to grab more territory. NATO and the EU is falling hook line and sinker into the trap.

Think of this from russia's perspective. How would the US react if Chinese bases start popping up in Mexico and Canada? What if Mexico and Canada wanted it? Does that not make it an act of aggression?
