That is not a cheap shot. Kaido chose to get drunk and that is his fighting style. It’s not Luffy’s fault Kaido is unable to dodge or decided to sit on the ground in the middle of a fight. Interference from a third party is something else though in 1v1 fight.

Kaido suffered plenty of interferences but him being drunk is no excuse it's the other way around his attacks hit harder, it's his own version of drunken master.

I think you fail to understand my point, it doesnt matter how much stronger he got. He was cheap shot or snuck by Luffy in that instance as he was not even looking at him or defending.

- the description shows that Drake may have died,
- from the description, we still do not really know what the status of Luffy is, (on the one hand, we have information about a powerful Kaido attack, and on the other hand, that he is shocked by the situation)

I doubt it's gonna be as worse as the Mogura to the stomach by Katakuri which left lasting effect on Luffy. All and all, Luffy tanked an advanced COC Ragnarok to the face and still came out fine, I doubt this chapter's attack is gonna 1 shot him

Tho it might not matter to much if kaido gives us enough of a flashback till luffy gets back up. Either doing with his overall life and/or oden if he ends up seeing momos human form

Back than it was 5v2 Luffy received sneak attacks from big mom as well. Zoro got attacked from big mom while attacking kaido. That is normal in a group fight. In one v one it isn’t though. And here it’s even worst cuz CP0 are meddling in a fight that isn’t theirs. Laws attacks I do not consider cheap shots, neither kids it was from the beginning 1v2.
