Multiple times, the latest one was when Kaido was sitting on the ground crying and drunk.

That is not a cheap shot. Kaido chose to get drunk and that is his fighting style. It’s not Luffy’s fault Kaido is unable to dodge or decided to sit on the ground in the middle of a fight. Interference from a third party is something else though in 1v1 fight.

Nothing was acomplished with this chapter, Drake got up for literally nothing, more Kaido and Luffy duking it out which at this point I don't even care if it looks great, and then all that for nothing because we end with yet another fake cliffhanger (and a reused one too).

The reason it worked in the Oden flashback is because we actually saw what happened after that but judging from what the providers are hinting, the chapter will end with the typical white eyed Luffy.
