I agree the fight this chapter was cool but Luffy tanked way too many hits for it to be believable

Luffy is near equal to Kaido so it makes sense

Nah, that's not the problem. The problem was roc attacks looked more impressive than long gun or whatever. Theoretically, over gun should have higher potency than roc at the very least.

It sort of serves the purpose of my post though. We know OKG is superior to anything Luffy has ever used thus far soley because we were conditioned by KKG in Dressrosa. For Kidd, there is no conditioning and Oda has failed to nail his visuals. Oda imo likely tries harder on brand new attacks that are used at a turning point in fights than rehashed ones even if those rehashed attacks should be stronger.

How the hell is he going to find a way around his G4 time limit. Plus if he gets G5 wouldn't the consequences just be worse? Something like using up your life span the more you use it or some shit

Oda has single answer every time. Let other characters stall. That makes Luffy worse as a fighter. His IQ leveled down when it comes to fighting. G5 is the worst at this point.
