yeah, but the thing is that the theory only makes sense if zoro kills kaido only after he has been beaten by luffy, while in previous chapters we basically learnt how luffy is planning to defeat kaido (kicking him out of wano), so the theory is no more. We should also add that zoro is currently more dead than alive

and also the "Joyboy" talk is what makes more sense though.
