So, luffy lost right?
At least people said that everytime the winner is announced the fight is over...

Oda throws joy boy and every one goes crazy... to me, this is getting really shitty...
wow how can the mc loose, yeah guys, the plot armor on luffy is so fking amazing that not even after this hes gonna loose. some random shitty power to defeat kaido next prob. even if he gets controlled hes gonna win. what a trash plot lmao.
Oda even had to made kaido even worse saying that about slaves and kids etc so we agree with this nonsense plot.

"I'm not reading even though I care enough to reply anyway"

I guess I have to accept this concession.

I thought you were an interesting t new user with sensible takes, disappointing.
I can calmly speak about how disappointing Oda's been in the women department post TS (bar some exceptions) just fine my man. If someone replies to with a 500 words essay about how I don't care about One Piece and I bought (???) this account from another site then you're getting a half assed response from me, I'm not gonna read all that shit

Naruto and Bleach ended up doing the exact same shit. Sakura was saying she was on the same level of Naruto and Sasuke in War Arc then had to get saved 1 minute later. I think it’s just the nature of the Mangakas all having the same ideas and using them between each other and them aiming at what they think is “teenagers”
In Bleach's case, Orihime was always a support. Rukia does get sidelined for the Arrancar arc, but she gets her own thing in TYBW.

Sakura was never on par with Naruto and Sasuke tho

I wasn't joking when I said that I fear Oda's friendship with Kishimoto and what it means for the future of One Piece girls lololol

And that's fine. I do think he has been questionnable in that department but I'm not as dramatic when it comes to x character getting fight or not. I may be weird but I think writing wise it would be worse if someone like Nami suddenly became a powerful fighter.

I saw this take so many times since Ulti vs Nami happened and yet pre TS Oda still managed to give her fights in Alabasta, Skypiea, Enies Lobby and WCI for post TS too... So which way is it?
Did Oda regret making Nami actually someone who could put up a fight in Wano?

I know a part don't like how her opponents were toying with her (never bothered me personally as she was actually a nobody)
Imo the problem is how enemies keep getting crazier and crazier. Every revelant antagonist in the NW is crazily durable, crazily strong, crazily fast at the point it is simply not believable to pull a win when her physical stats stayed mostly the same despite the better tech.
Basically it's more of a power creep problem. Usopp doesn't get much fights either when he used to get plenty pre-ts.
I wish Franky would just build pseudo raid suit for the weaklings.

Then why does Oda keep pairing her with these power creeped enemies? Fuck dude Usopp might've jobbed against Trebol in DR but what did Oda do with him after it? He gave Usopp a great sniping feat that also built into his character
What did Oda do with Nami after she jobbed THREE (and I repeat THREE) times against her opponent? He reashed the same situation again with her being essentially a cheerleader for Luffy in front of a big enemy. And how did that end too? With Nami crying on the ground after being saved by another member of the alliance
So frustrating...

I don't know either, I'm baffled at how the Ulti matter was handled tbh. Either this is building up to something as we won't know until Wano is over or even the next arc, or Oda got himself a humiliation fetish in Wano lol.

Didn't go hard enough tbh.
Ulti should have won no stop.
Such a convenience to use BM like that too.
Ironically the BM save is the one I'm most OK with lololol
But it should've been a one time thing, the fact Nami had to be saved 3 times just shows what I was saying earlier about Oda being scared of showing Nami getting hurt on screen now (remember in Alabasta how she put up her foot in front of a big spike? I miss that...)
Post automatically merged:

I'm not joking. We don't know what can arouse some men :shame:
Alright good to know that I'm not the only one insane enough to rationally think about the reasons why Nami's been treated so terribly in Wano (and how post TS's been a huge disappointment for her character in general too IMO) lolololol

Big Mom doing what she did, under the context, makes some sense, but being there at the time and place. Is another thing, Nami should be dead or severely damaged. Oda nerfed Ulti just for Nami.
Can we honestly believe someone who had to have Luffy needing to use G4 to get out of her grip, plus her headbutts, could do the whatever to Nami and still "lose"?
Suspension of disbelief is utterly destroyed.

I think post-ts is only disappointing in retrospective because of Wano (which is the culminating point of everything that has been build up since Punk Hazard), she had moments in the arc she was present in (no dressrosa) and WCI was promising without needing any 1 vs 1. It really Wano the problem.
