Yeah powerlevel stuff is so boring for me especially regarding one piece.
Sure bro, the OP powerlevel should follow Nardo's standards... oh sorry, I meant Naruto's standards.
:laughmoji:
I wish people thought a bit more and added a more nuanced approach in fleshing out certain themes and topics regarding op.
Yes, yes, clear as: Hating OP characters for lack of shine, attacking Oda, constantly claiming that One Piece sucks.:smart:

Off to a good start
Yamato is such a filler character it is vile honestly. Its like yamatos purpose is to be pretty and say that typical stupid shit. Possibly the worst character in all of shounen.

Even oda knows op is garbage

Naruto is a heavily character driven story whereas One Piece is a heavily plot driven story. There are rarely if ever any character driven arcs in One Piece. There has only been two thus far out of the entire 1000+ chapters: Robin in Water7/Ennies Lobby and Sanji in WCI.

Sanji WCI arc was a total disaster. Whereas Robin's in Water7/Ennies Lobby was a very good character driven arc which is why I guess you love Ennies Lobby so much since it is a character driven arc.

To illustrate how non character driven story op is take luffy and dragon relationship. We know nothing and it has been 1000 chapters

Power level is the most interesting thing for me but that's because I'm a nerf for them.

Actually I wished Wano featured more fights and less plot intricacies that mostly involved characters most will almost forget about soon when the arc is done. :josad:

Do OP PLs follow a standard?
For me it's all over the place and narrative is used more than feats.

Then read something that is not battle shonen. This is all about battles and power scalling.

So HxH also doesn't have character driven because Gon didn't met his father until after death?

But that isn't accurate though. The Phantom Troupe Arc was a 100% character driven arc. Naruto is also a battle shounen and it is almost entirely a character driven story.

Imo Oda's draft didnt include character development, Oda just shows flashbacks justifying their present character as result, Sanji had char development against King, but that is extremely rare. And Luffy sigh i dunno whether to root for his character anymore
