Hi everyone, the question is simple, I want to know your thoughts about what's happenning with Zoro. Now I know the Zoro fans are saying he is going to come back for ZKK but since I saw everyone else saying it's not happening, I want to know what people think it's happening with him.

First of all, it is weird that Oda showed almost all of the main allies and even had Sanji waking up for 1044 but no sign of Zoro. He left us with 2 cliffhangers with Zoro, first one was the grim reaper (we still don't know what happened) and second one is Franky catching Zoro in his fall and asking if he is still alive.

Knowing the importance of Zoro for Oda and Wano in general, something must be happening to him. I personally have no idea what's going on.

NB: for Zoro fans please just don't answer ZKK, I would also like to know what you think is going on with the grim reaper and if he really died, and for Zoro haters please just don't answer he is done, explain why and what will happen to him

He will return in 1049 and kill Kaido in 1051, you can take note.

In Buddhism there is Samsara, which is the cycle that the spirit goes through from birth, suffering, death and rebirth... Each time the spirit goes through this cycle it develops, until it reaches enlightenment/perfection and gets rid of it. The number 49 in Buddhism is the number of days the soul wanders in the spirit world until it is ready to be reborn and start the cycle again.

That's why Zoro is said to have died and will come back in chapter 1049 because he will start a new cycle, he will be more complete than before, he will be a new warrior.

Interestingly in chapter 50 he challenged Mihawk and they fought in chapter 51. In chapter 1000 we see Luffy's evolution in 1000 chapters when he manages to hurt a yonkou for the first time, the chapter title is even referenced to him. I believe in chapter 1050 Zoro will prove himself the monster samurai that Kaido no longer expected to exist and in chapter 1051 he will kill the strongest creature.

I think Zoro will return from the dead with Ryuma shenanigans like Luffy returned with Joyboy. He will be connected to the Moon as Luffy with Nika the Sun God.
Like Luffy DF being Awakened, Zoro Bladeor Blades turn Black.

Also we should factor in the tidbit that Enma temple changed Denjiro's apperance and Enma Sword could do something similar with Zoro

Yeah I also thought about the black blade, it's been foreshadowed. But do you think he will turn all of them black or just Enma since it seems like Enma imo was close to be turned to a black blade as implied by that long nose guy?

It's basically shows why zoro is definitely getting up with a power up.

Let's start with the most important panel



Death is what completes a person

And weve literally seen this happen
Not only someone "die" but get a power up and come back stronger.

Let's jump straight to the obvious example

LUFFY

Here luffy becomes complete after death.

First he dies

Death completes a person

Then he comes back stronger and awakens as the Warrior of liberation

As nika


Now funnily enough the exact same thing happened (albeit on a smaller scale)
To sanji


Remember Death completes a person

SANJI

Sanji should have been dead here to the brachio snake
Queen even expects him to be so when he drops him


But no once again

He awakens instead this time
It's the Warrior of Science


And he now has an exoskeleton awakened





And finally we have zoro




Finally we have zoro faced with a reaper a literal manifestation of death after taking x2 of what he took since the roof.
With both chopper and franky questioning if he is going to or is dead.

A coincidence that he is also going through death ?

Of course not

As kaido said death completes a person.

Zoro is also getting up stronger than before
Probably with his own
Warrior of Chapter like the other 2 have had.
Whether it be Warrior of death/hell/wano whatever that remains to be seen
But he will get stronger
A black enma is probably on its way.

Zoro is by no means done.


On a side note as far as the actual power up he's getting is

So maybe zoro has something to do with the zelda/link chap.

Enma mainly as it's rank will increase.

Also I think that Sandai Kitetsu curse is completed as Zoro died. Now Zoro will replace it with Nidai. Otherwise Nidai being in Wano is a waste from a literary standpoint.

One more interesting idea is that just like Sanji's raid suit unlocked his Exoskeleton, Enma will unlock something in Zoro.
