Guys, I wouldn't expect Luffy and him to meet in the film lol. That is a major moment for the manga, the film isn't taking that away from it.
The most I'd (personally) expect is the villain having ties to Shanks and we learn more about his past/motivations, and how that ties into Luffys inspiration garnered from Shanks.
Whether that ends up being massive plot twist or not depends on what the film actually teases. But I doubt they meet

tho I think her design is cute but I hoped for that strong reveal and all. Tho she have different a bit outfit on the poster so maybe we will see something stronger in the movie from her part???
