"Kaido power are weakening"......... Don't act like Luffy alone is weakening him.
Plus Kaido isn't in his drunkenness state anymore
And he could still hold his ground against G5

Just as Base, gear 2 and Gear 3 Luffy was able to hold againsts Drunk Kaido. Luffy is still chilling and will pull out more power, he is still getting use to this form.

Sky Splitting signify's a person being Yonko level, Kaido stating Luffy is the first perosn that can go toe to toe with him in 1037 also means base Luffy is Yonko level. Base, G2 ad G3 Luffy was fighting Drunk Hybrid Kaido. You cannot deny what the manga has shown and what kaido has stated.
