Powers & Abilities General CoA Discussion - Basic & Advanced

No. Again, the concept of black Hardening didnt exist pre-TS.
Wrong.

Luffy just couldn't discern it.

Both black shaded and non-shaded CoA exist post-TS.
Of course it does.

When Luffy didn't understand Haki in chapter 504, he couldn't discern Haki and Rayleigh's hands aren't black.

Post-skip, they are because Haki can be discerned.

It's not a literal colour, it's a visual aid.

As the manga said which you'd hvae to be in denial of, Haki is invisible as stated by Rayleigh.

And as stated by Hyo.

Your argument is futile since both shaded and non shaded CoA exists so even if you pursue "Luffy couldnt tell" argument you are digging your own grave.

If Hardening made things black, there'd be many things shaded black at Marineford, lol.

Luffy didn't know Rayleigh's hands were black at Sabaody, but post-skip, we're shown they were. They didn't know that when they didn't know Haki, simply a fact.

Two black colors dont mean the same thing? That both things are black? :myman:
Well, if you don't even read, but look at the Manga panels properly.

Hitetsu's mask is shaded black, but actually is Red.

Zoro's sword is shaded half black, but actually represents the dark part of his steel blade.

2 colours in Manga panels don't necessarily mean they're the same colour or have the same appearance or meaning.

So, if you think just because all things in Black in Manga mean the same thing, then you're not a very astute reader.

Another futile argument and Hitetsu's mask doesnt help you because in official coloring, both a Kokuto and non kokuto clad in Hardening do have the same appearance. You cannot change facts.

Lol, you don't understand.

Of course a blade coloured black like a Kokuto would look like a Kokuto.

The black colouring on Hardened things doesn't mean they're literally Black.

As the Manga says, Haki is invisible.

Not one statement in the Manga that shows or states or indicates that Haki is not invisible.

Even 400 chapters later, Hyo still says Haki is invisible, lol.

The Manga says something and you say the opposite, common sense to dismiss what you say.

If it is invisible then why are Kokuto's black?
Why was Asura visible?

Asura is based on haki aura? Prove it.
It's ironic that they can claim Haki is literally black, but there's no evidence at all to prove it.

Still waiting for that one character in the series to mention Haki is black. 900 chapters and not once has anything been stated.

400 chapters after the explanation of Haki, Hyogoro still claims Haki is black, yet they say otherwise.

Interesting.

Now, Asura is spirit Haki, but Asura isn't black, but Haki is black? Jheeze.

Of course there's no part of that, lol.

Hardening being black is just a decision by Oda to visually show the differences between regular invisible armor and the concentrated one; the latter being shaded.
I thought people would have known that already but I guess, this is not the case, lmao.

It is really spirit? How does Cavendish Hakuba mode work like? It is something spiritual like haki? How does Denjiro's demonic side work? Based on haki?
You can't arbitrary put spirit-based abilities on par with Haki.
We have no confirmation of Asura being Haki.
Yes, Asura is spirit.

I didnt say all haki is black, I am advocating that not all Haki is invisible. Difference.
