Not at all, Oda just didnt explore Kaidou's fighting tech more imo. Imagine if Kaidou goes hybrid and release tornadoes (just like how he create tornadoes in dragon form), topple the enemies' balance and fly them around using the tornadoes, then proceed to instantly hit them using kanabo while they're being helpless in the air. Thats an example of extremely versatile his technique combination can actually be.

Or imagine if hybrid Kaidou chokeslam his enemies and then blast them point blank with his lightning powers, its gonna be so lit.


...as long as Oda doesnt always nerf his elemental abilities that is, which is not the case since elemental attacks are always nerfed.

In the dragon form he just fly around and blow fire

He can also control and roar lightning(only once sadly), so there’s definitely some variety, though his best dragon performance for me is what he did in 1042 mimicking gear 4 movements, really putting the long and flexible body of an eastern dragon to use

I was wondering why I find Luffy vs Kaido so boring, but then it him me. Kaido fighting style is just really boring and does not have much of creativity

In his normal form he just hit hard with his club

In the dragon form he just fly around and blow fire

His hybrid form is the most interesting with the different drunken modes but still all he really does is hit hard with the club
