- Kaido confirms Roger wasn't a devil fruit user. He also says that "abilities" (of the devil fruits) are not necessary to dominate the world.

Roger can't use his overwhelming Haki. Shanks can't either. Whitebeard can't either, nor his earthquake powers.

Again, one line this chapter is harming your cope argument. Kaido is talking about Roger's haki to conqueror the world, not a DF power, and certainly not swordsmanship

I think Roger does care about swordsmanship he named his son after his supreme grade sword. That attack was also named sword attack similar to Zoro flying attacks pound canon attacks. He didn't use his fist or any other part of his body to send Oden flying but a named swords attack

People are so desperate to not call people who have been shown To use swords as their main form of attack swordsman. It just looks goofy at this point. Make that point when u have the in story events to back it up.
