I don't what could possibly top an island-sized punch, so yeah this is probably the end of Luffy vs Kaido. However, Kaido might get up later because of awakening, at which point Straw Hats vs Kaido could become a thing, like the Oars fight.
No stop pushing this nonsense about straw hats v kaido

@Fenaker there goes your confirmation that you asked for yesterday.

Mihawk is the WSS, sure, but that has zero bearing on him being the strongest haki user in the series. The 2 things are not commensurate, as holding a sword does not indicate you are a weaker haki user than Mihawk, it just means you aren't a better swordsman

Yall can cope with that for the next few months:suresure:
you couldn't quote me Yesterday :suresure: Zoro uses Haki with swordmanship and his King of hell sword style is based on using forms of adv Haki :suresure: Shanks tard you got bodied now go back to ur cave to make new headcanons:suresure:

That swordmanship talk was always wrong and wrong. It was about haki, no matter what you use as a weapon or skill, if you have powerful haki you will win (roger's case) Luffy will beat Kaido's Haki too in this fight.

And probably Shanks' haki is far superior to Mihawk's as well.
People don't understand this simple concept: it's a 1 way street. Like @HA001 says, Swordsmanship is haki. Sure. Cool. Fantastic.

Haki is NOT swordsmanship however lol. You can be a master Swordsman with proficient haki and one of the strongest people in the world. You can also be the strongest haki user in the series who happens to use a sword when he fights, which is quite literally what Kaido is saying here with DFs.

Luffy's fruit heavily uses Haki in all forms, and requires it in G4 and G5, but Haki output has nothing to do with his power overall.

In fact, Luffy beat Katakuri in the opposite way Kaido is talking about here. He had weaker CoA and FS, yet still won due to his proficiency with his DF. At the peak, for someone like Roger, this does not matter.

Realize that Mihawk is never talked about in any of these situations lmao

I like how it's "different" for swordsman, yet Luffy literally applies the same haki to his forms and moves. Zoro's focus on haki comes with his proficiency in swordsmanship. Luffy literally does everything he does with his fists.

And yet, once again, Kaido mentions nothing about Roger's "swordamanship" in this statement lmao. He mentions his haki, highlighting a very clear difference you don't want to accept.
Obviously only swordsmen use haki
Its not like we ever seen anyone else use it

Or even like the whole point of luffys timeskip was specifically to enhance his haki. Just imagine we also got to see luffy train each type of haki to rare level even after the timeskip
But again sadly haki is only used by swords obviously
