Luffy had weaker CoA and CoO than Katakuri. It was repeatedly shown and stated. Yet he had higher proficiency with his DF power to beat him anyway. This is directly the opposite of what Kaido is saying, where Haki in the end trumps over all. Luffy can't get away with the same thing on Kaido, he needs to surpass Kaido in Haki, it's not about DF proficiency anymore. I'm simply making the same exact case for swordsmanship.
Could Mihawk win as a swordsman? Sure. Would he win against peak haki users in a fight to the death? We literally cannot answer the question.
As I've said for quite a while: Bringing up haki was the worst decision Oda could've ever come up with. It ruined an already existing and very good power system.
rofl
still wrong again
you forgot about it because king's sword being the hardest or second hardest word in the world is purely headcanon. while the flames at the back of his head does seem to hold some relationship to how durable his body is, no such relationship is established in relation to the other flames he generates with respect to his swords.
