The new cope is to separate haki from swordsmanship but the manga already gave us the answer to that;
- Zoro's flashback with Mihawk telling Zoro that every chip on his sword should be a shame so he needs to master haki
- Zoro's first use if Enma with Tengu saying that if Zoro was an ordinary swordsman, all his haki would've been drained and the sword is directly tied to the user's haki
- Tengu states that depending on Zoro's level, Enma could be forged into a black blade
- Ryuma having the strongest warrior spirit. COC is based on users spirit
in the vivre card it was said that mihawk taught zoro swordsmanship and in the pica flashback he was teaching zoro haki , it should be pretty fucking clear
then why did he only covered the area that zoro sliced with shishi sonson, shouldn't the flames on the back be enough?
yes the flames are spread across his wings.
i'm not specifically talking about the sword, i'm saying that king's speed in general is determined by whether his flames are on/off.
king loses speed when he uses his flames.
also, only the areas that's coated with the flames gain additional durability.
