Some days ago our gov (Italy) closed all the skiing structures because people looked at this period like an holyday, after the closure a lot of people not happy with the decision went to France, and if that was not enough some of the owners of the italian skiing structures lamented that because they wanted that income.
At first we blocked just Lombardy but the info of the quarantine was leaked some hours before it was applied and a lot of people escaped the region bringing the virus even in South Italy, soon after the quarantine was applied to the whole nation.
SIince yesterday morning in Italy the whole population (60M) can not go outside their house if it is not for work, buy what they need (food, beverage etc.) or because of serious health problems. At least until yesterday I enjoyed go running outside on my own but now even that is impossible. Yet I'm glad since we are at least fighting it.
Now France too closed all its schools and universities.
Merkel thinks the contagion can go up to 60-70% (don't recall the exact number) of the german population. She wants the regional govs to move faster.
The BCE's president by saying they will not try to adjust the spread, countries have the FMI for that, sinks the markets (Italy -17%, France, Germany -10%).
Trump blocked all the flies from and to Europe, but not from England. Not that this matter anyway since America already has its several hundred certified infected.
China claims the USA are not being transparent about the infos on coronavirus in America, and what is even more lunatic is that they probably are right. Also they are now accusing the USA to have used the virus on China and on the other hand claiming how well their gov managed it compared to how western democracies are doing. He is probably right about the management but that doesn't mean that we have to get a dictator, already have that plenty 80 years ago.
Russia, almost half the landmass of the asian continent, has officially 7 confirmed cases of infected.
