Despite my absolute neighbour from hell, the other neighbours on my street are really wonderful people. A lot Muslims and Sikhs now I think and one of our Muslim neighbours gave us chicken on bone Biryani, spring rolls, meat samosas, bhajias (fritters) I think they are and such.
It smells and looks amazing! I've tasted their food before and it was incredible!
Another Muslim neighbour, who I once in a blue moon smell them doing some cooking and its a truly heavenly smell of spices, fresh vegetables, meat and such. Beautiful, poignant curry and spice smells.
A Sikh couple also started their own home takeout/food delivery service and their food is absolutely amazing, top tier restaurant standard easily imo. Reminds me of the amazing Indian/Punjab food I got back home in Kenya as a child.
My neighbours except the mental psychopathic stalkery racist abelist etc one are so kind, respectful, peaceful, humble etc.
After all the shit I've been through in life, 90% in this country especially, it just makes you really grateful for what you do have especially when they help you so much in different ways including giving us food or one of them being a plumber so he give us a lot of help when needed too.
I've met so many nice Muslims in my times, an immense amount and tons of great Sikh people too, its a really nice feeling and experience.
I also have been to Turkey and Spain and the locals were such friendly, hospitable, welcoming, joyful etc people and really embraced us like we were their own.
I might tell some stories I've experienced in those countries too lol.
I didn't jump in earlier with the discussions about Baklava and Turkish food but I absolutely love them like Spanish food and culture too and things like that make life so much more interesting, special, wondrous, exciting, pleasant etc.
Turkish and Spanish people are fantastic too. Greek and even Mexican,Chinese and Japanese in my experience too. I've met them via restaurants and my former university too.
It blows my mind that we can meet people from all over the world and so much more easily these days too, all kinds of cultures, races, beliefs and such.
Seeing discussions about different cultures and hearing and learning about them is a pretty nice experience usually.
I've watched shows about France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Iceland, Austria, Australia, Morocco, Egypt, Pakistan, India, Brazil, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, maybe Portgual etc and its part of the reason i love One Piece. All these different worlds, cultures, experiences, adventures etc in our our own planet and thus galaxy and universe too.
