Lmao Ja isn't doing anything
Last time they squared up, Ja went for 35 and it ended up in a GS loss :afrokappa:

He usually goes off against Steph, so can’t expect less this time. As a squad I think GS has it in the bag though, Memphis will struggle defending them. When GS goes small, Jenkins will have to figure out how to hide Ja on defense because you’re either putting him on Poole or Wiggins and both don’t look that good.

Warriors vs Grizzlies will be good.

Warriors in 5 :steef:
Grizzlies knocked them out from even touching the first round last yr in the playins so this matchup might be personal for both teams, especially with the Warriors thinking it was a cakewalk until the final minutes of the 4th/OT of that game 🤣. I could see this going to 6 like in 2015 (even with a different team)

Didn’t say Curry was underperforming in those matchups so nothing much to be said there, Curry’s video game stats are the same against most. And in the only post season game both went for 30+ in an epic showdown so there you go. The point was about Ja showing up and there’s enough to suggest he’ll play better vs GS than he did vs the Wolves.

Also the Warriors are less likely to choke double digit leads in the 4th Quarter like the Timberpups have been doing the past week or so 🤣

That’s why they’ll win.

Though its gotta be said, last time they were forcing him to hit jumpers and he basically did that. That’s how they ran away with that. Against the Wolves he passed up many open looks and bricked others, if that is going to continue then yeah the Warriors are sending them home early. He needs a mid range game to take his offense to another level.

Nope he was guarded by low iq players last year, i will gurantee he will be below his avrage
Our best defender bar Green was wiggins last year, ja cooks him every time
Wouldnt be the case this year

What low iq players? He was guarded by Steph, Bazemore and Wiggins pretty much, with bodies in the paint. The game plan was to leave him open and to pack up in the paint which ended up backfiring on the Warriors. The only thing that has changed this year is that they got more defenders unlike last year.

Basically not in the league anymore

Already said he gets cooked by ja

he is improved defender but cant defend ja come on
None of the guys I mentioned are anywhere near low IQ lol, Steph is not a good on ball defender but he knows what he’s doing, Bazemore was a seasoned vet and solid on ball defender. Wiggins was their best bet and he’ll get the assignment again to start off the series. Their gameplan was what fell apart. Anyway, different year different teams. They got Klay and GP2 this time, so you don’t gotta worry about Steph guarding Ja for any extended period of time.
