I mean, expecting guests to drink or eat all the food/drinks that are prepared is pretty nasty actually. I have family in Czechia and Albania and they pretty much are the same there.
They prepare insane amounts of food, expect you to eat it AND say that you like it(even if that's not the case) and if you refuse because you're f.cking stuffed they take this as a personal offense.
I think this forced hospitality can be pretty toxic.
