My guy the difference between Kaido and BM is not so big that giving Kaido a single cut is anywhere near the shit Kidd pulled on Big Mom. If BM wasn't in Wano, Kaido would have been defeated by 1010 since he couldn't last long against Luffy, Law, and Kidd going out full force. The only reason Law and Kidd didn't use Awakening on him was that they had Big Mom to worry about.
But that aside, BM saying that Kidd's attack only tickled her was an obvious bluff since it overpowered her AdCoC

@Monkey D Theories is probably the reason why all of these Zoro fanboys and kid haters are starting to band together. So they are taking advantage on the way he was being salty when there is no reason to be. Yamato having internal destruction haki while kid doesn't shouldn't get him so bent out of shape all that matters is narrative and portrayal.

Kid was literally introduced fighting Apoo and saying he’d kill him for staring at him.
The only thing close to a “resentful” comment about the World Gov was when he was laughing with Killer that it was a joke to call the Kid Pirates bad guys when the Celestial Dragons exist.
I also have zero reason to care about a Kid flashback. Again, at most it will tie to Shanks, but so do other more important characters.

How many times has Kaido fought in battle in his life? He's only been scarred twice.
Think about the people who have scars in One Piece, and how significant they're supposed to be.
Luffy's scar on his chest from Akainu, Shanks' scar from Blackbeard, Oden's scar on Kaido, Zoro's eye scar, etc.
If fucking Kiku could do that to Kaido, his whole body would be covered in scars by now

Why did Kaido go out of his way to tell Zoro that the wound would remain with him, but he didn't say it to anyone else? Why was Zoro's attack the trigger for Kaido commenting that they could've taken over the world if the R5 joined him?

They DO get scars. It's just that they're main characters and Oda isn't gonna draw them with every scar they've taken cause that would get in the way of things.
For instance, Nami had a scar where she stabbed herself for a couple arcs after Arlong Park, but Oda eventually got rid of it because he didn't feel like drawing it every panel
It's all about aesthetics. Luffy, Zoro, Shanks, and Kaido have visible scars because Oda thought they looked cool. If it was anything important, Zoro's scar wouldn't have been from something that happened offscreen and never gets mentioned
