Oda ended three chapters in a row with the same cliffhanger - GODA! I feel like I'm reading the same thing in every chapter: Momonosuke trying to create clouds, the festival on Wano, and Luffy preparing a big attack.



In theory, he should. He only had 8 heads and has now lost his eighth head.

Groundhog Day One Piece edition. Majoras Mask too. Moon of Majoras Mask = Onigashima and maybe the actual OP moon later on in the story too.

Oda's biggest sin as a writer is just atrocious pacing.

It’s the pacing but it’s also doing doing it with filler content and padding that seems important but always turns out to be pointless

I typed up a gigantic mega "mammoth" rant on Kaido and the Beast Pirates but realising it all just made me so angry, fed up and sad honestly. Much like criticising Wano and even OP itself. When you either look at long term stuff or and a lot of smaller/shorter issues pile up, it doesn't help at all ofc.

In a way I feel Oda wants us to starve and suffer just like the Wano citizens do.

There's some major continuity errors here though.

Oden was shocked that Roger/WB were "not even touching".

That "flow" concept is ubiquitous in Wano. Oden should have known about it.

I dont think anyone strong enough could coc clash with Oden at the time

It's AP because it tested Zoro's attack vs. King's attack. That King's attack wouldn't do shit to any Top Tier.
