How is Rooftop Zoro admitting inferiority to the WSC, even worse? Ofcourse he is inferior. Anybody except @nik87 can see that.
The point is "being knocked down" used as a metric to scale is bs, since Pre COC Luffy's Kong Gun and other G4 moves obviously did more damage than the same Luffy's G3 Red Roc or Scabbards' Togen Totsuka, which knocked Kaidou down. Same goes for comparing Rooftop Ashura to Scabbards' Togen Totsuka.

Because there is no admission of anything in the official translation. Just that Zoro wanted to knock him off his feet, and didn't. The other translation works far more against any Zoro fanboy argument that Zoro is some Uber bad ass on par with Luffy and Kaido. Which most of them argue. Pretty much saying I can't beat you tells one all they need to know.
