I don't think Kaido is in awakening. Having different forms doesn't mean the character is using awakening. Luffy has different forms that aren't awakening. Only Luffy's G5 is awakening.

I think kaido and orochi show devil fruit awaking power. Literally flame on mode. It just make kaido goes bigger than before. Then it remind of Giant ultra instinct goku vs Moro

@Sentinel the flame kaido head is not even big as onigashima skull. Look at kaido flame tail and compare to horn. Kaido dragon form is like flying snake with arms . The his neck is like 2/3-3/4 size of kaido head.

The Luffy vs Kaido panels were nice but I wasn't crazy about more flashbacks to soon after Oden's death. Kaido's fire dragon is really cool. Can't wait for the big finish to this fight. It's been enjoyable so far despite the repetitiveness of it at times.

We had a "Kaido vs Luffy" title not a "Luffy vs Kaido" title. Their final battle will be titled "Luffy vs Kaido" just like Law and Kid vs Big Mom, Zoro vs King, Sanji vs Queen e.t.c

This is Luffys fight guys lol.

It doesn't matter what happens. Maybe he has awakening, or he doesn't, or it's already been shown. Maybe Luffy "loses" for another chapter or he doesn't. Maybe Kaido withstands this punch or doesn't. It's still his fight. Regardless of any mindset. Oda will never make Luffy be the only character in an arc to not win his fight.
