It's interesting that it runs in contradiction with what Melkor is claiming - my assumption would be if they were bussing Melkor would claim to have seen Banks visit him to "validate" the shot, but we *can* WIFOM that. I think it fits somewhat, but is a fairly weak role all things considered too.

Yeah if someone was trying to kill him then it’d make sense that he’d flaunt it for credits since he’s so sure that mafia is trying to frame him. Their actions also don’t match.
