well depends on the definition i guess. If we say Enma is a training medium then RS may have a defense mechanism which also must be trained, or else it'll trap and suffocate you and crush your bones etc. The statement that RS is a technology also support that one must have an ability to utilize a technology to acquire its benefits. the same with Luffy's Devil Fruit which makes his punch sloppy, inaccurate, and limp the first times he used it.

but i guess Enma is a training medium that offers Zoro powerup through CoA and sword technique training. Zoro said in TB that Shusui causes unnecessary destruction due to himself couldn't master it fully yet, a lack of technique thing. Enma does that, it forces Zoro to train his CoA and technique with a stronger overall personal capabilities as the results, and it also offers him a simple powerup due to its hardness, sharpness etc

After training, take away Enma from Zoro and give him Shusui, it's not gonna change anything. His Haki, DC, Skill, PS would be the same, just like with Enma.

Getting stronger via training is not a powerup. Having a mod that makes you stronger, more durable, etc is a powerup, General Frankie, Zeus, Sanji's Raid Suit, Usopps weapon, even Nami's weapon

Why isn’t it? Luffy has had CoA this entire time. All he’s doing now is upgrading his use of it

While, Zoro has had CoA this whole time and Enma is making his more efficient/better at using it

Simple as that :
■ The thread talks about Is Enma power up or not = in other words is this sword gonna give Zoro an Ap and Dc stronger than His last blade 👀👀 .
■ Firstly to claim that Enma is a powerup we have to know which blade Zoro traded for it ; it's Shusui so let's Compare Between Shusui and enma .

☆ Sword Grade Shusui = Enma
Clarification : Hitetsu Confirmed that both are Owazamono Grade.

☆ AP Shusui > Enma
Clarification :
- because one is a black blade who showed us that it can absorb other slashes of other swords not to mention one of them is Wado which has the same grade of Enma and share the same Origin .
- in the FB Oden used two swords which were enma and Ame and we saw that Those swords shared the same grade and both injured that boar and also Coated them when he clashed Against Wb who used his saijo o wazamono Blade and Finally didn't make him win any advantange against Roger who used named slash technique despite having enma which was claimed as a magical sword by sanji fans and luffy fans and ame no habakiri finally Oden cutted Kaido while using both of them and i have to say oden didn't show us that enma's speciality gave him anything after he tamed it and used it in a lot of clashes so that speciality only helps you one time = when you train to master that sword it will give you a better mastery of haki but after that you will use that blade like any other blade and you will be the one who will determine the Quantity of haki used to each slash with enma .

☆ Defense : Shusui > Enma
Clarification : the black blades have a durability which can't be broken even if a dinasour stomped on it .

▪ So with that we can say Shusui > Enma or we will be arguing about Ame being > to shusui and also Nidai with wado .

● Conclusion :
- Zoro each time when he gets a new sword it has to be stronger or has a better grade than the previous one like when he got sandai and yubashiri for those trash swords or shusui in place of Yubashiri but here we have enma was traded for shusui which is stronger than the former and despite knowing that ppl are claiming it being a power up or stronger than shusui LMAO .
▪ Clarification :
- if you want Zoro to have a power up Sword Don't worry Nidai will serve that purpose because it will be traded for sandai .

▪ Now let's return to our Topic :
- Luffy and Kidd Trained their physical Strength with sea stones as a Tool ; So are we arguing that the sea stones are the real power up or it's the raw strength .
- Luffy without that nicklace he couldn't awake the AdvCoa and he used Rocks and steel as a Tools to master it ; so are we arguing that the necklace or the rocks with the steel are the main Power up or the AdvCoa .
- Zoro has Coa since the TS and he got enma which is < to shusui but Zoro tamed it and trained with it for his Coa's mastery you can see oden after getting used to it that ability had no impact for him heck the Fb gave us a clear idea Enma = Ame ; now are going to argue that Enma is a powerup which will mean it is stronger than Shusui and not his Coa's mastery the True PowerUp.
- Heck oda foreshadowed enma will be a black blade this arc with The topic of it being introduced this arc and also hitetsu's statement and finally TP parallel when zoro defeated Zombie Ryuma he got a black blade and i won't talk about King and Ryuma similarities but after kings fight he will forge enma to a black blade just to surpass Shusui

Zoro needs better Haki control to properly wield Enma. Enma is tha vehicle to that destination

If so he tha case, why not put Enma down work on his control/Haki himself then comeback to it, if it’s not needed
