Kaido has been great and all and as much as I enjoyed Luffy vs Kaido, it's time to move on.

There is no point on dragging this fight even longer, hopefully we will see more of Kaido's flashback in the next chapter and then we can finally move on from the Wano arc.

Especially since Luffy is all about being who he is and that is not Oden, Joyboy, or anyone else from the past. He grew strong enough to make Kaido consider him one of the strongest but Kaido is getting killed nonetheless.

Dude, it's similar to Luffy vs Enel during the Skypeia Arc. That fight was dragged using several factors even though Luffy has the complete advantage. That's the same here and Kaido was not even that much of disadvantage compared to Enel.
