lol my guy is buggin.

mha is a mediocre shounen tbh to begin with, I honestly forgot majority of all the characters except for the MCs and even then they were lackluster.

talk to me when you have mha villains like doffy & katakuri who have taken over fandom for an entire series.

min not even a big fan of Luffy to begin with never really have been and I can say luffy>deku

I even like Subaru>Deku from re:zero.

MHA overall is overrated for no real reason hahah

Id rather fucking take Luffy than Deku. Luffy may outshine tf outta everyone, but atleast he gives them the spotlight when its their turn. Deku just literally does everything.

given the most op quirk & still a bitch < trained to make a “useless” df power viable against others.

I see that a lot of people think that Luffy is the same thing than Deku only for the real power of Luffy's DF. But even when it is a mythical fruit, the Nika Nika DF still being useless in the start. I think that this is the same thing with the DF of Kaido, probably he started like a magikarp and then his aweaken was this Dragon Form.

But Deku is sure that he would have the same power that the other users. The DF is not a promise, and also don't have masters that show you what can your fruit do or their limits.

Man hahahaha I can't stop laughing xDDD

All this is only favoritism to MHA.

OP Main cast stomps the Class 1-A, there's no chance for the hero class in terms of character quality. Only Nami's flashback is better than any thing in MHA.

One Piece characters are amazing. The problem is that a lot of people usually don't like to see the subtle details. For example, all the Nine Red Scabbards. Denjir even his first appearance was laughing about Orochi's fear, the dialogues of this character are wonderful because he threatens him even without Orochi himself realizing it, secretly mocking him with that smile.

"If foxfire kin'emon and the red scabbards should appear... I, for one, would welcome it!! I would enjoy the chance to show you my skill with the blade."

This samurais are full of amazing details like this, where we can see them enjoy and suffer. I only can say that OP's character are building more in a world building way than something "only personal" and that makes them deep. They can have a huge influence in the story, even when they aren't stronger than other characters like Luffy or Roger.
who cares if op will "stomp" mha? mha has the better teamwork, creativity, and character development, and based off of your comment you'd probably think of it as "girly" but i'm pretty sure most of our fanbase is women. also, no mha fans rlly care abt what animes would beat mha, the characters and the plot are all that rlly matter

okay sooo, idk why i'm here like 2 years later, i was just doing research on which is better, mha or one piece bc my bf and i are arguing about it, i say mha bc of the characters and plot, and he says one piece bc of the fights, and i personally think that the character development is the most important thing about an anime, for example, bakugo had soooooo much character development, deku had a lot too (he's not a whiny crybaby like most of you are saying anymore at the end of the show) and he might be annoying but he's still an okay mc. the bond that was created with him and bakugo towards the end is probably the most character development i've seen in an anime, also, the villains character development is wild, and the lore with the villains. like how toga and twice are best friends and care for eachother a lot, and how they don't really get along, but they stick together because they're on the same side. don't even get me started on the sc like the todoroki family (lore goes hard) and kirishima. there are some overpowered characters, but there are overpowered villains to fight back. the rage that we could see from deku whenever bakugo got injured in a battle was crazy. personally i have not watched one piece, i haven't even finished mha, and i can still confidently say in terms of what matters (character and plot) mha wins.

Oh yeah, that reminds me how the whole length of the story only lasted like a year and a half. So, everyone was a second year student and defeating the League and One For All. Which is some horrible pacing.

At least Naruto actually graduated ninja school before they took on the Akatsuki.

One piece characters barely touch up upon the psychology aspect of their characters if any at all unlike my hero academia. One piece is more focused on the world building aspect of the story than it does about characters themselves.
