Zoro barely beating the weakest YC1(borderline Yc2) King, who chose to fight as a swordsman for Zoro's sake
King not even being an elite swordsman and says he isn't a swordsman at all, crushing WSS head canon
Luffy becoming stronger than Zoro's EoS opponent Mihawk Long before the end of the series
Zoro never becoming a monster samurai or any swordsman of significance

It wasn't a waste of time for anyone with more than a single brain cell. There was no energy to put into it after realization that Zoro wasn't fighting renowned swordsmen pretimeskip.

It didn't clue you in when Zoro was just handed the greatest feat of swordsmanship (a black blade) with no real effort?

lol, interesting... KOing Kaido has been done before, 7 times already. Even if this is real KO like those 7 times before.
Nothing new, nothing impressive especially considering that Kaido was exhausted after a gauntlet vs 15 people and several Luffy rounds.
The damage from this punch is so low that it cant even scratch Kaido's scales... Only 2 attacks have managed to do that.
