totally missed the point. the point was that luffy would still be the winner of his fight against kaido, even if the latter somehow wakes up and gets killed by zoro. Just like in the examples he gave in his post.

Yonko Saga=Kaidou.
Alliance Saga=Doffy.
WG saga= Rob Lucci.
Baroque Works Saga=Crocodile.

They wasn't the main Boss of a Saga? Are they? Wasn't Arlong defeated by Luffy?,Crocodile defeated by Luffy,Rob Lucci defeated by Luffy,Doffy defeated by Luffy? and now is Kaidou turn.

don krieg was the main boss of his arc though. and there were no sagas up until that point anyway
