I think Drake's got a real interesting backstory. It's implied his father, former marine himself, was abusive. He was said to be the strongest of the crew but cowardly and taken in by Tsuru. Being a double agent on top of that, this dude is set up almost identically to Itachi and he ends up being a massive flop.

Excluding Straw Hat novas, Drake seemed like the most potential from Supernovas in terms of story and etc. Total waste by Oda.

i actually think haki is great but oda should have just put something out explaining it clearly ahead of time instead of making the power system also another mystery. its really simple, it does basically whatever you need it to. also i kind of like the canon plot armor thing lol. like haki is literally willpower so the shonen manga plot power boost from getting fired up and getting more fighting spirit is just literally powering up with the power system.

Haki is not that bad but it's just not as versatile as stuff like Chakra or nen, devil fruits will always be the core of OP's power system imo, it's what made it unique from other typical shonen battle mangas in the first place

Can't believe Senor Pink has a better flashback than Kaido

Was about to say the same.
Baby5 flashback, Senor Pink, Doffy top four4, Monet moment, Vergo moment with Doffy, the whole crew flashback with Corazon.
It was a total great work, in terms of fight okay it wasn´t really great but the build up of Doffy crew was perfectly good, far better then Kaido and his crew who had both bad fights and bad build up.

Oda put more build up and work into Doffy crew, yet Kaido crew who had 140chapters, totally fail to give us reader the tension for the raid, a understanding of each character and fail total to highlight the crew in my opinion. Only King had few moments but let be honest they been very weak for a YC1lvl character, I liked even more Katakuri one.

Doffy crew in terms of build up and storytelling>>>>>Beast pirates.
You know when a Senior Pink got a better build up then a 400chapter character and major villian, that Oda messed it up with the rushed flashback of Kaido.
