Well yeah it was after gods valley, but the fact that big mom calls Kaido a snake it’s more likely Kaido just straight up left Gods Valley and was captured a few years later.

It’s also possible that Big Mom left Kaido on Gods Valley and didn’t understand where Kaido went. Why would Kaido create a crew after multiple years and being alone at sea? King was already really young when Kaido recruited him so it can’t be much farther than Gods Valley.

I'm still thinking of BBP coming to Wano. So for the theme of betrayal, what if BMP finds BM and Kaido but so does BBP. Once BMP sees BBP coming for them, they will leave Kaido behind. This will also be direct reference to what Kaido said. If your ally knows you'll get defeated, they will betray you. BMP knows that they will be defeated since Kaido is unconcious and BM is weakened or unconcious too, they will betray Kaido.

The saga has been built up to this exact moment. Every arc lead to this punk hazard/dressrosa/WCI everything lead to this lost in wano.
