What about turning post count off? That might decrease the spam in this section and allow users who can't afford read it finally catch up with games and be able to play them.

And besides this section's spam isn't so different from the Ground Floor's, I suggest worst case you should abilitate post count everywhere at that stage. Or at least remove from here.
Huh? How does turning post count off do anything? I don’t think anyone here cares about post count.

We just managed to fight to get “who replied”, that’d be going backwards entirely.

I'm pretty confident that will actually discourage some people from posting 200 times a day and I'm not typing this in a malicious way, you guys just need to trust me and try for a trial period. There is nothing to lose right? If I was wrong I will admit my L but my impression is that it will likely indeed discourage the spam. That could allow users like me or Udell and a few others to finally be able to play again eventually.

Besides what's the point of post count in a section where games can reach 10000 posts in 10 days all the time? It sounds like the Ground Floor where post counts are disabled.

I think Fuji would make an excellent coach along with Ratchet. I also suggest one of these two to be our new mafia moderator with Drago gone now.

Removing post count won’t stop spam. People spam when they have fun, or are fired up, or by just being who they are.

We’re not gonna make people post less in a game, unless they’re bound to by game rules OR if they’re really extreme (which they aren’t).

But posting less would be to their own heart's content, no? Not an imposition. Since it would be the rightest choice to disable post count in a section that is hands down comparable to the Ground Floor when it comes to the spam issue and where there posts are disabled. Why not uniforming the thing to make things more fair?

It will probably mostly be the major spammers to end up posting less, I don't think it would be exactly the same for them if their posts don't go up even if they don't care much. It's still an incentive that the subconscious mind eventually picks up. Even if the result wasn't massive it would likely be a result and in principle it would be regardless the most right thing to do for the Ground Floor thing I mentioned.

Nah. Have you seen me hosting any games? I’m far from being a host let alone a coach.

Fuji is our guy.
Let Fuji prove with his upcomming game. If it becomes a fail like his first Pokemon game on NF then I would vote no for Fuji. Else I wouldnt mind him becomming a coach, I also became a coach after successfully creating SRM setups and hosting them. You also need to be a teamplayer as a coach and I think he will fulfill the criteria. I vouched for Fuji climbing his way on the ladder back when we approved him as host.
He was the first approved host here from the new wave of WG players that joined us and this makes him naturally a veteran and next in line.

I actually would love to play again but trust me I got reports from a few fellows that seem discouraged from the spam issue and felt like dropping the section because of their busy real life schedules and they like me preferred to rather step back than risk to play games in a non consistent way due lack of time and resources and ruin the other players' experience. We cared about others more than we cared for ourselves.

I think someone with over 100k posts shouldn't talk about spamming

If you guys disabled post count in here I feel like I would play a trial game to see if I was right in my prediction.

You have nothing to lose to make this trial period with no post counting in here and see if anything changes even slightly and regardless what's the point of having the Ground Floor disabled when the spam is comparable? Isn't the point to disable post counts in a section to not count the excessive spam? This isn't about my personal desires man, just a forum fact.

But it's not for the hate AL. A few like me in here just like they like me around the forum, whereas the majority hates me and not just on this section but I didn't drop the entire forum, just here, so that wasn't the issue, else I would have quit the entire forums aeons ago.
