If Wano truly does finish next chapter and Kaido’s just done (I don’t care about BM but her too) then it’s pretty clear to me that Oda or his editors just decided “fuck it” and have cut a hell of a lot of the ending of the arc.

It’s like when a long running series finishes really abruptly (like what happened with Bleach) except this time it’s only an arc and not the entire thing.

I mean, we already had a 7 day time skip Garp

and an Admiral is coming

you really think there's hope for more Kaido and Big Mom here?

sure, they could get up and we could see them in the Final War, but here in Wano? they got to be done

Which leaves me in a really weird position because

2) holy fuck the writing sucks

how can two Yonkous, who have their DFs for ~40 (Kaido) and ~60 (Big Mom) years get defeated by 3 newbies with DF Awakening, and they themselves don't have awakening to counter?

if those are their awakening, they were fucking shit, had almost in impact at all

so can you accept that those two broken DFs have shit awakenings

Yes if Oda is sick this is the exact same thing that happened with Kubo, the anime will expand on some scenes but this is a little disappointing

Exactly. I wouldn’t want Oda to fuck up any arc obviously but if there was one arc he rushed Wano would be the one for me I could care the least about.

If this makes the ending of OP better and the final war then I’d take the trade off
