He is more special than Sanji tho.
He has CoC while Sanji hasn't, he was on the roof and fought Kaido while Sanji didn't.

If he wants to push the wings concept, he has to try harder. Now a week passed, Sanji being in better shape than Zoro doesn't count anymore and the emperors are defeated.
If Sanji doesn’t clash with Ryokugyu, and not like he did with Doflamingo, and if he doesn't show CoC by the end of the arc, we just have to accept our idea might be wrong and that they might be right.
Even if they get the exact same bounty.

Don't get me wrong, ZKK not happening is a big L and puts Zoro a step or two below Luffy whatever Zoro boys say, but he is above the other strawhats.
CoC dont make you special.

Being some kind of symbol or excessive focus does. Zoro didnt get that. He aint special....

Could Wano had more of a focus on Zoro? Sure. But let’s not act like he wasn’t out there fighting Yonko and stopping hakai

nah that shit is mainly about ZKK and it’s obvious. Literally “this character doesn’t get the cool moment I wanted so fuck him” childish af
No it's not lmao. I can only speak for myself, but since Wano became relevant to the story I've been waiting for Zoro to receive some characterization. He's been a caracature of himself since the TS and I foolishly thought Wano would open him up. I believed that Zoro would somehow gather the samurai. I put stock in the potential of Hiyori being more than a damsel in distress. I held a belief that Zoro would become a more complex character during his time in Wano.

And what did Zoro get? He became a common criminal, saved a dumb cunt, landed a paper cut on Kaido, and drinking some mink sperm to defeat King, who has less of a presence than Queen in terms of story involvement. I'm suppose to be happy with that? In an arc that was allegedly filled with swordsmen? Did this arc really impact Zoro as a character? No. And yet I'm suppose to eat this shit up and smile? What a fucking joke. You need to realize that Wano missed the mark massively with Zoro as a character, that their should be more to him than being a muscle head that wanks Luffy half of the time.

COC is natural, but Sanji has lineage factor, which is also very special

I don't think Zoro is more special than Sanji

There is a scale of what to expect from Zoro in Wano

At the very bottom is the downplaying expectations (would fight YC3 Denjiro, WW or Jack, wouldn’t even see Kaido, no CoC, Wano has nothing to do with him)

The middle expectation was that he would beat King with a bit of help and there would be some sword lore

At the very top was the ZKK and him ending Wano as the glorious hero of the arc as Ryuma 2.0

ZKK was always a long shot due to Oda being Oda. What we ended up getting was towards the top of the scale. He soloed King who got some good wank and was a really good fight, didn’t just get CoC but ACoC, was the star of the 5 vs 2 Yonko fight, had some good character moments spread out throughout the arc, we’re getting pieces of his backstory. Of a very bloated arc where there were far too many characters, Zoro got better treatment than most if we view the arc as a whole.

The flaws were that his attack against Kaido ended up being pretty unimportant, even with the scar. King was poorly utilised for a lot of the arc but came good in the end. And if Wano ends next week then Oda’s failed to tie up Zoro’s plot correctly (but Zoro won’t be alone in that, if Wano ends next week Oda’s failed to tie up a lot of plots).

As a Zoro fan sure, I wanted ZKK, because you always want your favourite to get the best he can possibly get, but even without it it’s a good arc for him.
Yeah when put in to perspective Zoro usually doesn’t fight the main villain of the arc and Zoro got a top tier power up

would I have wanted more instead of character? Yes. I have literally said before regardless of your fandom, Zoro should’ve had a storyline focus in Wano similar to Law in DR and Sanji in WCI. But it isn’t a character destroying arc, which is what I would consider before dropping a character
