Zoro's goal isn't figuring out the origin of the title but defeating the one that has it, this was made clear in Baratie and every time he gets stronger he is closer to that goal.

No, the complaints are:

• Zoro was directly stated to look exactly like Ushimaru and shown to be a spitting image of him. Oda even went out of his way to tease Zoro's lineage in an SBS, yet this has received no payoff.
• Oda had Zoro directly compared to Ryuma multiple times both in and out of canon, yet he likened JoyBoy AKA Luffy to the Sword God. Literally everyone and their mother knows that Zoro parallels Ryuma. EVERYONE.
• Oda introduced a grim reaper into the story on a cliffhanger with Zoro on the brink of death, just for him to recover offscreen with seemingly no explanation or issues.
• Oda gave Zoro an entire subplot in Act 2, creating bonds between him & the people of Wano (one of whom is a Shimotsuki), yet he means nothing to them right now.
• Oda gave Zoro the sword of the most recent figure of hope to the people of Wano, yet he means nothing to them.

Those are JUST about Zoro and only a few things off the top of my head

If you plant all these super obvious hints in your story FOR YEARS and then fail to deliver on them you certainly failed as a writer. It's basic writing 1 on 1: Promise - Progress - Payoff.

Sanji in 150 chapter defeated Queen in the worst fight in the serie. With a sneak attack. After Queen attacked himself. In the arc where Zoro fought two emperors and scarred one of them before defeating a YC stronger than Queen.

Sanji isn't far from Zoro, they are the wings of the PK and so on, but compared to Zoro he was useless.

Lol the grim reaper is the most egregious because it's an actual element in the story. Zoro had hallucinations and we have no real resolution to it besides a joke. Could've just had Zoro pass out at that point.
